The great music just keeps coming. Showing off his talents once again, Pete takes Steve Miller’s ‘Jet Airliner’, puts the [stringfellow] twist on it and runs it home. I wouldn’t exactly classify it as country or rock, I most definitely wouldn’t call it crock either. Maybe it’s contemporary/modern country? Hmm… Just not sure. Whatever it is, I LOVE IT!!

Now, I liked the original song too. All except the annoying screechy guitar and the uncontrollable urge to smoke a doobie with my hippie friends. That is so 1970-something.

Pete’s ‘Jet Airliner’ gets my toes a tappin’ and my head boppin’. Heaven forbid I have it in my mp3 player, ‘cuz honey, this girl can’t dance and that’s all I wanna do when I hear this song! The hips are swayin’ and then the feet are attempting some steps, the arms are swingin’… and there isn’t one part of my body that knows what the other part is doing, but they are having fun because it’s Pete’s music we’re jammin’ to and his music gets into your soul.

Besides getting me up and dancing like a fool, Pete’s sultry voice comes through loud and clear as he puts all his energy into his singing. So ladies, if his deep sultry singing voice is what does it for ya.. you will surely enjoy ‘Jet Airliner’, cuz Pete’s got it goin’ on!

Secondly… Pete has been busy layin’ down tracks for a record/cd to be released in the future (soon I hope). Of course, all of the music will be just as smooth and sexy as every other sampling we have been graced with.

Fifth… I am reviewing a piece of music for Pete as I write this. Within the next few days my review will be posted. This song is great! Like his music could be anything less!?! He has someone from Huey Lewis and the News singing with him on it. I can’t give you detail on the song, but it will be out in the not so distant future and I am most positive that you all know this song!

I had a great time chatting with Pete the yesterday. He told me his radio interview went well. I was so glad to hear it.

The interview was on a Sonoma County (CA) station, Froggy 92.9 with Rob and Joss in the morning. Sadly, I was unable to catch the interview. But I have faith in Pete, he did not falter once. They even had Pete on their website for a while. He isn’t there now, major bummer.

Pete’s song, Santa Rosa, now has plenty of air-time. Even more airtime if you email or call in requesting it! You will thoroughly enjoy this song. Don’t forget to tell them you’d like Pete back on their website too!

When I asked Pete about Santa Rosa, he said, “Its an upbeat tune. Funky. Fun. Happy. It’s about my hometown, so it’s personal.” And Pete wasn’t kidding. Santa Rosa is definitely an upbeat tune and most definitely fun!

This song is all Pete all the way! The vocals are all him. Santa Rosa tells a story, Pete’s story. As Pete said, “It’s personal”. To quote a line (or two) in the song:

“Santa Rosa … roses and fine wine, run through this blood of mine …

Though road I’m on is taking me to Tennessee, my home will always be, Santa Rosa …”

As with all of his songs, Pete belts this one out with all his heart and soul. Since this one is about home, there is a little more heart and a little more soul in the mix.

From the moment this songs starts in with the guitar strummin’, your feet start a tappin’, your blood starts a pumpin’ and you have this uncontrollable urge to get up and dance. I don’t mean dance with any kind of rhythm either. I’m talkin’ just get up and shake your money maker like there ain’t no tomorrow. Needless to say, my dog looked at me like I had lost my mind.

Then, when you least expect it Pete throws in that sexy ‘Pete thing’ at the end of the song. Swooon

I must say Pete, you’ve done it again. You’ve created yet another masterpiece. Kudos!
